Open Position · Belle Meade, Nashville TN
Family Assistant &
Household Right Hand
The person who keeps a busy household moving — errands handled, projects finished, details remembered.
The Baby Pros Collective is a boutique domestic staffing agency based in Nashville. We place with a select number of families and we stand behind every placement we make.
A role with range,
for someone who loves the details.
A private family in the Belle Meade neighborhood of Nashville is seeking a reliable, resourceful Family Assistant to keep their home, vehicles, and day-to-day logistics running smoothly. This is a household support and errands role for someone who takes genuine pride in handling the details that keep a busy household on track.
The work is varied by design. One day leans toward errands and vehicle care, another toward organization, vendor coordination, or a family project like party planning or holiday cards. The right candidate thrives on that range, stays ahead of a running task list, and follows through without needing to be chased.
This is not a nanny position. The family’s daughter is cared for separately. On rare occasions, the Family Assistant may step in to help with her if the family’s nanny or au pair is unexpectedly unavailable, but this is occasional backup only and not a regular part of the role.
This household runs on the principal’s direction, with clear priorities and established preferences for how things are done. The family has two large dogs; comfort with and care of large dogs is required. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required, as much of this role involves errands and vehicle care.

Who tends to

The ideal candidate is a reliable, resourceful professional who takes real pride in the logistics of running a household. They are the person who sees what needs doing and quietly makes it happen — the dogs get to the groomer, the car is maintained, the gifts are wrapped before the party, and the repair that’s been lingering finally gets handled.
They are equally comfortable running errands, coordinating a vendor, and taking on a family project like party planning or holiday cards. They enjoy variety and stay organized across a lot of moving parts.
Importantly, they take direction well. This household runs on the principal’s lead, with clear priorities and specific preferences, and the right person takes pride in executing that vision exactly rather than reinventing it. They are proactive within that framework and follow through without being chased.
